Living life with an open heart is the key to feeling seen, accepted and loved.
But sometimes the intensity of life makes it hard to actually keep your heart open. Things can get so full-on that all you want to do is close that humble heart - roll down the shutters and close up shop. Block the world out, block the people out, block the pain and fear out, block yourself out.
The thing is, when you do that you also block out love, belonging, joy and gratitude.
